Looking for the perfect Tekken 7 controller.

After a lot — after about twenty years in a volcano — I returned to the fighting games and in particular to Tekken 7.
Like many in its thirties, I discovered the series with Tekken 3 for Playstation (PSX), although I have vague memories of a coin-up from a game where there was a Chinese who did pirouettes, a white Angel and a purple Devil…

In practice you get used to playing with the Playstation joypad (D-pad) and — although today it seems not enough cool, with the rise of sticks— in 2019 you still want to use a joypad, without having to give up the Mishima’s electric moves (EWGF, EWHF…).

This article is the search for a joypad with normal layout (SNES, PS): with tests on the field. I decided to write instead to do the typical youtube video.

The electric Mishima moves

A necessary premise: what are these electric moves most people are talking about in numerous videos and post online?
